Connect your AI assistant to your second brain

The Second Brain has its own MCP server. Your AI assistant can search and read your notes, tasks and plans, and, if you allow it, add and update them for you.

Works with the AI tools you use

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is the open standard AI assistants use to work with other apps. Connect Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Gemini CLI, OpenCode or any other MCP client with one URL and a personal token.

You choose what the AI can do

Every token has an access level: read only, read and write, or read, write and delete. Give a laptop a read-only token and your main machine full access, and revoke any token at any time.

Your data stays yours

A token only ever sees your own account. Every call goes through the same checks and limits as the web app, and is written to an audit log.

Questions

How do I connect my AI assistant?
Sign up, open your profile, go to AI access (MCP) and create a token. The built-in guide gives you the exact command or config for Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Gemini CLI and OpenCode.
Does it cost anything?
No. The Second Brain and its MCP server are free. You only need an AI assistant that supports MCP.
